On October 25, persons with Spina Bifida and their families worldwide will come together to celebrate the 13th edition of the World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day 2025 (#WSBHD25) on the theme: Coming Soon.

Our vision is a society that guarantees the human rights of children and adults with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH), and celebrates their contributions in all areas of life, while guaranteeing equity at all levels and for all. ​To the present, there are many barriers which individuals with SBH face. With stigma, discrimination, and a lack of awareness creating additional barriers to the full participation in life's opportunities. Bridging the gaps on topics relevant to the SBH community is of paramount importance for the spina bifida and hydrocephalus community.
