WSBHD25: ACCELERATE ACTION FOR SBH
WHY DID WE CHOOSE IT?
Our vision is to create an inclusive society that ensures the human rights of persons with Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus (SBH) are respected, and their contributions are celebrated across all aspects of life, while striving for equality at every level and for every individual.
This year’s theme is chosen to be ‘Accelerate Action for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus’ (#Action4SBH).
Individuals with SBH continue to face numerous barriers, including stigma, discrimination and a widespread lack of awareness – all of which limit full participation in life’s opportunities. Addressing those challenges and accelerating action on key issues affecting the SBH community is more important than ever!
During this year's World Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus Day on October 25, we will bring further awareness as to how we, together with you, can accelerate action for our global SBH community.

The submission that will collect the most likes and reactions on IF's social media will be this year’s winner and will be featured on various IF communication channels - More info in the WSBHD25 Toolkit
